Rudolf Steiner: Tomorrow, we will need the candelabrum and the picture of Christ again for the ceremony. Rudolf Steiner: Having spoken the word that gives strength, I empower you with the symbol of the reading of the Act of Consecration of Man.

Rudolf Steiner: This completes the second part of the act of consecration. The person to be consecrated has thus received the power to read with full justification the part of the mass that has just been read up to this point. And tomorrow the consecration of the next of you will have to be done by the one who has just been consecrated, and the one who has just been consecrated will receive the completion of the consecration at the end of the sacrifice of the mass tomorrow. Then tomorrow he will perform the act of consecration, and the consecration of the shepherds of souls will gradually be carried out in stages.

There follows the answering of a few questions by Rudolf Steiner.
— The person performing the consecration must wear the robe.
— The oil that has just been used can be stored in such a way that it remains for this purpose and is not used for anything else or even poured away.
— We can use ordinary bread. - A goblet could be used, a chalice-like glass, simple white glass, which is a bit wide at the bottom.
— Squeezing ripe grapes? An eighth of a liter may suffice. Only a few drops are needed. Ripe grapes are just right.
— It takes only one to be ordained, and he can pass on the ordination. Anyone ordained a priest can pass on the ordination.

Rudolf Steiner: Wir werden morgen zur Zeremonie wiederum den Leuchter und das Christus-Bild brauchen. Indem Sie (zu Friedrich Rittelmeyer gewendet) dann die Zeremonie ausführen, leben Sie sich auch in diese hinein. Heute soll das gestern Gebrachte so wiederholt werden, daß Sie zunächst einmal darinnenstehen, und dann werde ich die Zeremonie fortsetzen können. Sie soll heute nicht zu Ende geführt werden, aber wir werden sehen, daß sie eine Etappe weitergebracht werden kann. Morgen werden wir nötig haben: ein Rauchfaß, die beiden Christus-Bilder, dann das Öl und die zwei Wasserkännchen mit einem Tablett und den Kelch. Brot können wir ja formen. Das müßten wir doch morgen dann haben.
Heute werde ich versuchen, alles vorläufig aus dem Geiste herauszuholen, und es braucht niemand zu denken, daß dadurch die Zeremonie nicht vollständig ist, weil einige Dinge, die drum und dran hängen][, noch fehlen]. Dr. Rittelmeyer wird sich in die Dinge schon hineinfinden. Ich habe schon gestern gesagt, wie die ganze Zeremonie zu denken ist. Es ist nicht möglich — es ist mir viel durch die Seele gegangen -, die Priesterweihe in [der im vergangenen Jahr angedeuteten] einfachen Weise durchzuführen; [wir führen sie so durch,] wie sie jetzt geoffenbart ist aus der geistigen Welt. Und so werde ich [den Anfang] in einem gewissen Grade ausführen, dann kann unter meiner Assistenz morgen Herr Dr. Rittelmeyer die Zeremonie weiterführen.
Das erste wird sein, daß Sie hier die Gewänder zur Verfügung stellen; zunächst ist die Aufgabe, die Gewänder selbst zu weihen, damit sie geeignet erscheinen mögen zu dem Ziel, zu dem sie dienen werden. Das kann in diesem Falle so geschehen, daß ich den Segen über sie versuche herabzurufen:
Im Namen des Vatergottes, der da sei in uns,
Im Namen des Sohnesgottes, der da schaffe in uns,
Im Namen des Geistgottes, der da erleuchte uns:
Die Kraft, die in allem Wirken derer sein soll,
die sich hier dem göttlichen Dienste widmen,
die Kraft Christi soll versinnlicht sein durch diese Gewänder.
Es werden nun Friedrich Rittelmeyer Talar und Alba angelegt sowie Gerirud Spörri das Ministrantengewand.
Nun wird der erste Teil der Menschenweihehandlung gelesen [in der zur Priesterweihe erweiterten Form, wie dies bereits am Vortage angedeutet worden war. Dabei wird Friedrich Ritielmeyer die Stola übergeben. Danach liest er das Evangelium Johannes 1, 1-14 vor.]
Rudolf Steiner: Ihr lieben Freunde! Wir haben den ersten Teil der Weihehandlung vollzogen. Da die Weihehandlung ja heute nicht zu Ende gebracht wird, so wird es gestattet sein, den zweiten Teil ohne den wirklichen Vollzug der Zeremonie im Geiste hier auszuführen, und das soll sich nun an den ersten Teil anschließen. Es wird so, wie ich anzunehmen berechtigt bin, eine vollgültige Handlung nunmehr ausgeführt werden.

Rudolf Steiner: Nachdem das Wort zu Dir gesprochen ist, das die Kraft gibt, habe ich Dich zu erkraften mit dem Symbolum des Lesens der Menschenweihehandlung.
[Rudolf Steiner übergibt Pfarrer Dr. Rittelmeyer die Casula. Es folgt dreimal die Formel: Der Vatergott ...]
Rudolf Steiner: Damit ist der zweite Teil der Weihehandlung vollzogen. Der zu Weihende hat damit die Kraft bekommen, denjenigen Teil der Messe aus voller Rechtfertigung heraus zu lesen, der eben bis zu dieser Stelle hierher gelesen worden ist. Und es wird morgen zu erfolgen haben die Weihe der nächsten von Euch durch den eben Geweihten, und der eben Geweihte wird unter Beendigung des Meßopfers morgen die Vollendung der Weihe empfangen. Dann wird er morgen die Weihehandlung vollziehen, und es wird etappenweise das Weihen der Seelenhirten sich nach und nach vollziehen.
Es handelt sich dann darum, daß die Fortsetzung in der Art erfolgt, daß nunmehr zelebriert wird die Transsubstantiation, daß nach der Transsubstantiation das Paternoster gebetet wird, und nach dem Beten des Paternoster, vor der Kommunion, wird der dritte Teil der Priesterweihe morgen an dem eben Geweihten vollzogen werden. Wir werden aber morgen zunächst die weiteren Weihen vornehmen, und für jeden wird die Weihe in gleicher Weise zu Ende geführt. Also nachdem der heute Geweihte die Weihe vollständig empfangen hat, wird er wiederum die Weihe für die anderen fortsetzen, so daß die vollständige Weihe zum Seelenhirten jeder von Euch von hier forttragen wird.
Das ist dasjenige, was ich heute zunächst mit Euch vollziehen wollte. Jetzt wollen wir die Handlung schließen, damit unser lieber Herr Dr. Rittelmeyer sich noch etwas erholen kann. Morgen um ein Viertel vor drei Uhr.
Es folgt noch die Beantwortung einiger Fragen durch Rudolf Steiner. [Die Fragen selbst wurden vom Stenographen nicht notiert.]
— Derjenige, der die Weihehandlung vollzieht, muß das Gewand tragen.
— Das Öl, das eben verwendet worden ist, können Sie so aufbewahren, daß es bleibt zu diesem Zwecke und nicht sonst verwendet oder gar weggeschütter wird.
— Wir können gewöhnliches Brot verwenden. - Ein Kelchglas könnte benützt werden, ein kelchartiges Glas, einfaches weißes Glas, das ein bißchen unten weit ist.
— Reife Trauben auspressen? Es kann uns genügen ein achtel Liter. Man braucht nur geringfügige Tropfen verwenden. Reife Trauben sind richtig sogar.
— Es braucht nur einer zu Recht geweiht zu sein, und der kann die Weihe weitergeben. Jeder, der zum Priester geweiht ist, kann die Weihe weitergeben.
— Sie müssen jederzeit die Möglichkeit haben, den Kultus zu halten.
— Die Zeremonie, die nach dem Staffelgebet vollzogen wird, muß für jeden einzelnen sein, ebenso die Zeremonie mit dem Salben nach dem Offertorium.
— Die Weihehandlung selbst wird so oft eingefügt, als zu Weihende da sind. Es wird die Messe gelesen bis zum Evangelium, dann wird die Handlung, die auf das Evangelium als eigentliche Weihehandlung folgt, so vollzogen, daß jeder das Evangelium liest, dann wird wiederum das Offertorium absolviert, dann folgt die kurze Weihehandlung mit dem Salben.
