The Spiritual Individualities of Our Planetary System
GA 228
The first two lectures are part of three that were given to members of the Anthroposophical Society in a series of regular weekend lectures in Dornach. Immediately afterwards, Rudolf Steiner travelled to England for a “Holiday Conference” organized by the “Educational Union for the Realization of Spiritual Values” in Ilkley and then to the “International Summer School” in Penmaenmawr. The last stop before returning home was London. The occasion was the founding meeting of the Anthroposophical Society in Great Britain and the branch lecture of September 2 published in GA 228. In London, Rudolf Steiner also gave two lectures (September 2 and 3) to doctors and medical students, which are published in the volume Anthroposophical Knowledge of the Human Being and Medicine, CW 319. Back in Dornach, he described his impressions of the trip to England on September 9 and gave a lecture to members the following day. He then traveled to the September conference of the Anthroposophical Society in Germany in Stuttgart. During this conference, he gave the last three lectures published in the present volume at the Gustav Siegle House.
