The World of the Spirit and Its Impact on Physical Existence
GA 150
Of the lectures from the years 1913/14, which are listed in the bibliography of 1961 under the numbers 150, 152 and 154, those on the subject “Preliminaries to the Mystery of Golgotha” were summarized in a volume (Bibl. No. 152) under this title. The other lectures, augmented by several others from this time, now appear in the Complete Edition in two volumes: in the present volume, Library No. 150, and in Library No. 154, “How to Attain an Understanding of the Spiritual World”. In many respects they supplement the volume 'Occult Investigations into the Life between Death and a New Birth' (Bibl. No. 140), especially with regard to the concrete influence of the dead on the world of the living. The transcripts can generally be described as good. Only in the lectures of April 13, 1913 (morning and afternoon) and in the lecture of May 5, 1913 is the text defective in places and cannot be described as a literal rendering of what Rudolf Steiner said throughout.
